Jackson Red Devils Varsity Walks Away Victorious Over Strong Rock Christian, 10-5

 

Jackson Red Devils Varsity scores more runs than Strong Rock Christian, takes victory on Thursday to the tune of 10-5.  Jackson Red Devils Varsity got on the board in the second inning when Mckenna Shirah‘s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Jackson Red Devils VarsityJackson Red Devils Varsity notched five runs in the third inning. Molly WatsonJanecia Barber, and Emily Hyson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Bailey Christian got the start for Jackson Red Devils Varsity. She surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six and walking one.

Shirah led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Strong Rock Christian. She went six innings, allowing ten runs on ten hits and striking out five.

 

Jackson Red Devils Varsity tallied ten hits in the game. Hyson and Watson all collected multiple hits for Jackson Red Devils VarsityHyson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Jackson Red Devils Varsity in hits.  Strong Rock Christian tallied eight hits on the day. Lyndzi Partlow and Diana Drake each managed multiple hits for Strong Rock Christian.
